DRO Concepts presents the Carbon Fiber Shield, our all-new carbon fiber iPhone 3GS / 3G Case. Utilizing a proprietary combination of carbon fiber and kevlar advanced composites to create a carbon fiber case superior in almost every way. The unique combination of carbon fiber and kevlar leads to near perfect cell signal, while also increasing the structural strength.

Our Carbon Fiber Shield for iPhone offers minimalist styling and absolutely NO bulk.  It's combination of carbon fiber and kevlar creates a great composite material that we have worked long and hard on.  This unique carbon / kevlar composite sets our carbon fiber shield case apart from anything else available on the market.  We are so excited about what we have learned from this new carbon/kevlar material we are already adapting and integrating it into all of our other product lines.

Featuring real twill weave carbon fiber, this carbon fiber case is ultra thin and utilizes a soft touch coating inside so scratches are a thing of the past. Like all of our products this case is crafted by hand and provides exotic yet sophisticated styling. Each Carbon Fiber Shield for iPhone 3GS also comes with our D-shield film to protect your iPhone's screens. Add to this, that the case only weighs 8 grams and you have one seriously cool, ultra light iPhone 3GS case.

Carbon Fiber Laptop Cases are almost here

So after a long long wait and many hour of work, our DRO Concepts Carbon Fiber Laptop Cases are almost ready to roll out.  Here are some sneak peak photos of a prototype we got from our engineering guys. We will have many more next week and our photos for the website should be available very soon. More details about the fit and design can be found here.

Compatibility:
All 13" Apple Macbooks and 13" Apple Macbook Pro, Apple Macbook Air, and several 13" Sony, Dell, and IBM laptops. A complete list coming in SOON!

Production versions of the case will be constructed with a quasi-isotropic layup which varies the orientation of the carbon layers depending on the location for increased strength and will be finished with a beautiful final clear coated layer of 3k twill weave carbon fiber.  As seen below.

Here is a couple quick photos of a prototype top half of the carbon fiber shell.  ( missing the clear coat finish and the soft foam lining )

Faster Turn Around and New Carbon Fiber Laptop Cases.

First things first, we have made up a lot of ground over the last week and are now going to be shipping within 24 hours (starting today!)  We have had good luck with FedEx and they have been shipping orders quickly and with almost no mix-ups.  So we are very excited to keep moving forward.

Our next step will be our new carbon fiber laptop cases that have been in development for a while now.  They will fit all of the 13" Apple Macbook and Macbook Pro lines as well as some other 13" laptops from Dell, IBM, and Sony.  We are still working on compiling a complete list.  The new laptop case is about 3-weeks away from being up on the site and we will have more details and photos soon.  Look for the new carbon fiber laptop cases to be in a 3K twill weave with a high gloss finish as well as a 3K twill weave but with a Texalium (silver) finish.  The price tag is still being finalized.   Feel free to post or shoot us an email if you have any questions.

Carbon fiber iPhone case.... November 18th

Everything has been firmed up and all preorders of our carbon fiber iPhone cases will be sent out Nov. 18th at the latest. Thanks everyone for your support and patience. Oh boy, some delays

So do to an unfortunate mishap out at out coating facility we have been forced to delay our original shipping date by 10-14 days. Luckily no-one was injured.
